~sigh~ I haffta confess........I really missed coming here and watching brand new quitters get their sea-legs. Poor wee man got his first real boo-boo. See beside his eye? His right (our left). He was trying to climb...yes climb! up a cabinet and fell over. I told his mama "Just wait until he's riding things down the stairs and jumping off furniture!"

Fear. Fear is what kept me from quitting. Irrational, invented, mostly fictional unrealistic fear. I told myself I was afraid to put on weight, afraid of withdrawal, afraid Id just fail and go through withdrawal for nothing, afraid Id lose my smoking friends. I told myself all sorts of lies so I could continue to feed my addiction. The number one lie: I like smoking. Its really so good.....so so good....to be free from the bondage of nicotine.
