  1. Whaaaaaat????? Whats wrong with my fitness journal?? Are you referring to the fact that there's not much fitness in it??
  2. Im not kidding....I practice it daily. Many times a day in fact. But now, after watching the video again....I realize I look more like the donkey video posted above rather than the actual NTAP video
  3. Lace!!! Ive been waiting....and watching..... I KNEW you would get it eventually :0 Now, if youre like me, you'll go on a picture frenzy!
  4. And.......you do not have to have quit, or even have a date set in order to join. :)
  5. Who's legs are they Christa.....hmmmm?? Lol
  6. Oh yeah. That's the one. Get ready for for a dance off MQ I'm coming for ya. ;)
  7. Oh dear. Lol I'm remembering when "I" was the cheater. Looking for excuses to run to the store, itching for when hubby would leave for work, showering too much to get the stink off me. -sigh- It's a dreadful way to live. In the grip of addiction and trying to keep up a facade. :(
  8. I just came across the following about affirmations.....thought I'd share :) Thoughtless people sometimes state that our meditations and affirmations are foolish because we state what is not so. "To claim that my body is well or being healed when it is not is only to tell a lie," said one distinguished man some years ago. This is to misunderstand the whole principle. We affirm the harmony that we seek in order to provide the subconscious with a blueprint of the work to be done. When you decide to build a house your architect prepares drawings of a complete house. Actually, of course, there is no such house on the lot today, but you would not think to say the architect is drawing a lie. He is drawing what is to be, in order that it may be. So, we build in thought the conditions that will later come into manifestation on the physical plane. "Around the Year with Emmet Fox" Pg. 341
  9. Ha! I forgot about doing that. I did that too :p
  10. The thing that seemed to work best for me was reading the newbie package, over and over. As well as googling (now known as Bakon-ing) any and all positive side effects of quitting smoking. I had to tell myself all the time, "I am not different than these folks here. If they can quit, I can quit. The particulars of my circumstances may be different......but I cant use that as a reason (excuse) to pick up a cigarette. Ever. If they can quit, I can quit. I choose to believe them when they tell me I can do this" :)

  12. 7 Good morning all
  13. Bhahahahahaha....dreadlocks hanging off my legs. Me too girl, me too. Ive got a date with my razor today!
  14. Oh yes ladies....I did those things too. I also ran around the house, searched every junk drawer, under every sofa cushion, every pocket......to find enough change to buy a 8-10$ pack of smokes when I was out of money :(
  15. It's going to be nice enough today to open my windows and let fresh air in :) If I'm so excited about letting fresh air in my house, why would I do anything less for my body? NOPE. I will not pollute my body or my home.
  16. Hahaha....watched a girl light a cigarette outside the restaurant I was leaving. I think she was using one of those cheepie imitation bic lighters....the flame went so big she singed her bangs. So glad that will never be me again. :)
  17. Action, Your kindness and thoughtful nature has been such a breath of fresh air :) Keep on keeping on......you are one heck of an amazing quitter :p
  18. I wish for a nice gardening outfit. What does one wear while gardening anyhow??

  21. Yup! When I had my first child, you could smoke right there in your hospital bed!! While holding your newborn! By child #2 they had an area in the hallway for smokers. By #3......get your stinky butt outside. By #4......get your stinky butt across the street. Or go hide in your car. Progress :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
