The Sober Chick is happy she lives in a place where most people leave their doors unlocked. Seriously. And we're Canadian, eh! So most of us don't have a gun either. If I heard something go 'bump' in the night I'd assume Calvin my neighbor was drunk and wandered into the wrong house :p

Something bad has happened. Very bad. All this time.....all this time I was being smug because I hadn't gained any quit smoking weight. Oh dear. Oh dearohdearohdear. Just a little while ago (sniffle) I sorted through my back to work clothes. (Eyes getting misty) My blouses and tops are ok. Everything is fine in that department. But......(sniffle sniffle) none of my effing dress pants fit me!! Not one!! (Hyperventilating) I have until the 29th. I go back on the 29th! What the hell am I going to wear? My daughters cast off maternity pants?! Oh dear. Oh dearohdearohdear. I'm going to have to add something to my routine of couch sitting and NTAPping to the fridge. Uggggggg

I work in a Mennonite community......nothing is better than being able to stop at various farm lanes on my way home to buy fresh eggs, in season fruit and vegetables, maple syrup and preserves.....and the baked goods....oh the baked goods. :)

Where does the time go, huh?? Just yesterday my babies were coloring on walls, and refusing naps. Now they qualify for drivers licences, purchasing booze, gambling, credit cards......... Their childhood raced by! Thank goodness for grandbabies!
