    Nicely Put

((Hugs)) If beating ourselves up was an effective way to change a thought/feeling/behavior.....it would have worked a long time ago. You didn't smoke today. So you win! :)
  9. Tell us again: -the last thing you did that caused Mrs Bakon to get really mad at you. -do you cook and clean? -ever use the handcuffs on the kids just because you could? (I would) -do you have a favorite chair like Archie Bunker?
  10. -Have you ever shaved one arm pit and forgotten the other? ;)
  11. Humor break Mrs. Bakon. I just wanted to give you a hug and tell you that Ive been thinking about you this morning. Im sending you strength from Canada. (((hugs))) Ok, back to comedy-fest.
  12. Nancy....I dont even have proper words to express my love for you and what you have contributed to my quit! I feel blessed that our paths have crossed and doubly blessed that I haven't scared you away with my ugly snot crying. :to_pick_ones_nose: :sorry2: I feel lucky that I convinced you to share Bakon with me. :secret: (But I selfishly request that we keep it between us.....dont tell anyone else how wonderful he is or you will cave and we'll end up sharing him with everyone!) You Nancy....are one in a million.
  13. 7 months is quite an accomplishment.
  14. 2 months is wonderful.
  15. I am so pleased that folks like you are paving the way ahead of me :)
  16. Wherever you are Running, stay smoke free and happy!
  17. You are fabulous!!
  18. I will not smoke today. No matter what.
  19. Phlegm is pretty ick......one time I had a huge amount of it stuck to my scrub pants.....when you try to wipe it off it acts like a frigging snot elastic.......
  20. Burns are terribly, terribly painful. I burned my .....um.....ok....I burned my va-jay-jay in 1990. The phone rang, I was trying to pour a cup of tea, multi-tasking and ended up dumping the scalding water on my crotch. (2nd degree on the left side but 3rd degree extending to the right side) Ive had 4 kids......all natural births. I would have all 4 of them over again before I dealt with a burn like that again.
  21. I spied Comrade playing the Coke game too. But Aine......yoohoo Aine......where are you??? Just because you got a big promotion and youve become a cheese snob....does that mean youve kicked us to the curb? :to_pick_ones_nose2:
  22. Needles are n Needles are nothin'. Its the poop. The poop is often not very good.
  23. Thats part one Colleen.....I hope its not too graphic. (Everyone's threshold for too graphic is different, and I dont even seem to have a line....) Here's a kind of pro/con list as well that you might find helpful. http://www.ehow.com/list_5954961_pros-cons-skin-grafts.html

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
