  8. I wonder if peoples lives are so boring that they have to stalk a person around the net or is it because they love and thrive on the drama? I see it all over facebook on comments on news stories are peoples lives that boring that they have to stir up trouble for kicks? I dont know Life is too short for stupidity and quitting smoking no matter the method as long as we are all quit is the MOST important thing. Freedom from smoking is the best thing you can do for yourselves and your family.

  9. rode my recumbant bike today for an hour (also used 5 lb hand weights as I rode), walked outside for about 50 minutes yesterday felt nice to get outside.

    I miss

I miss everyone I lost too soon to accidents and other causes I miss my dad I miss my youth I miss my Gallbladder........JUST KIDDING dont miss that rotten, gangrenous organ at all lol
  12. It does get boring doesnt it, Comrade. I am on FMLA for the next 4 weeks myself related to my surgery last week I have a 10lb limit so unless there are project work I dont work (dont really want a hernia surgery also which is why the weight limit until I am healed sigh) I love my husband but I need some one else to talk to besides him......Boredom truly sets in quickly especially when you are used to working and moving all the time. The most disappointing thing to me (and I never would have said this 2 years ago when I smoked) is I cant run for 1 month. :( I had signed up for a 5mile run on labor day w/e that I cant do and had to cancel :( Hang in there and heal give it time
  13. My reasons to keep smoking prior were eh were all gonna die sometime....or I could be hit by a bus tomorrow.....etc. etc. etc. It wasnt until I got older and realized I wasnt ready to die yet that I changed my thinking.....silly me
  14. get well soon my husband had a stent placed 2 years ago which is what prompted both our quits
  15. breathe, I am going to say this as nicely as I can...We all know how you feel about vaping fine you are entitled to your opinion (which is what it is an OPINION) Please do not cause issues here with your articles about e-cigs there are people here who have used it as a NRT successfully I should add and we should not discount that at all. It might not be the ideal or the way you quit and that is fine as long as there is a plan in place to put everything down at some point and not be tied to it for the rest of your life than I support them hell if someone felt that jumping up and down while sucking on a straw helps them quit forever I would support them also. THis is about supporting each other and not putting others down for their choice in how they quit. Please do not judge people here it is not a good look for you or anyone for that matter. You can provide people with excellent support if you can but please leave your opinion or satire on e-cigs at the door thank you very much (for the record I quit cold turkey). My mother in law used an ecig when she quit intitially then within a month put that down also so now she is done with everything sometimes things take some longer than others and that is ok as long as their plan is to be completely free in the end. Thank you for your understanding on this.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
