  1. that is why your nervous it is a big decision and a big change after you have been at one place for that long. A lot of worries go with that also but hopefully the job you applied for calls you and if you want it you get it.
  2. I ran my first 5k 4 months after my quit, I lost weight about 80lbs and then quit smoking mid weight loss, so I decided to take it to the next level by running since I could breathe again the best way to run a 5k is to sign up and commit to a 5k race. You can do it does not have to be fast just gotta do it.
  3. That is awesome.....My mother-in-law quit using the e-cig with no set plan after about a month or so she just decided to put the e-cig down for good and be done.

I am also known as frezflops on here apparently for my love of flip flops(closet things to not having shoes on) I am married Was not able to have children so I have 3 dogs and 1 cat Love to run Outside mostly running on the treadmill is monotonous to me but I need to get back at it I love harder alternative rock such as nonpoint, the pretty reckless, in this moment etc..... I am 45 years old. I hate country music My dogs are annoying me right now I have been married for 21 years I have a desire to travel more now that I have had a taste of it the last two years I am a homebody it takes a lot to actually get me to want to go anywhere not very exciting I know I spend way too much time online I think.

    help

You do not want just one......breathe deep everything that happens in life is going to happen with or without cigarettes it is much better without (I know you know that) Go for a run or a walk or take 10 minutes close your eyes and take some deep breathes repeatedly......drink a cold glass of water or maybe some juice or pop. Whatever you do do not smoke and please check back in here ..........you have got this........
  11. I have not been running much since it has gotten cold outside (cant bring myself to run on treadmill all the time) I have been walking cody outside for about 5 miles at least 3-4 times a week have to put snow pants and dress warm. I am on call today so I went to the work gym and worked out on the arc trainer for 30 minutes then did some strength for about 20 minutes feels great. I have to reign in my snacking habits it has been a bit out of control.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
