    Is it rude

    well, with the traumas I see coming into the hospital I just shake my head at the stupidity or the lack of common sense. As far as speaking the truth it depends on the audience, with certain members of my family I am honest and occasionally brutaly honest depending on the seriousness of the subject. Others eh not worth the drama it could cause.
  2. I am sitting here having a glass of sweet red wine and mild chedder cheese and crackers, what is everyone doing today/night?

Yeah vampires do not sparkle and outside of a little bit of eye candy with magic mike no desire to see that either unless they turn into werewolves, zombies or vampires (that do not sparkle cant say that enough lol) I dont care if fifty is porn or not, it is the writing that gets me I could have wrote that book myself better and I suck at writing. lol

I read the first one just to see what the hoopla was about got about 1/4 of the way of the second book and ummmm nope dumb book horrible writing and quite honestly if you are going to give me porn to read at least have a more descriptive writing style other than "down there" for the love of hell who says that?!? Will not see the movie cause well ick no interest. The books were given to me to read I did not buy them thankfully.
  5. ran 6.13 miles today in 1 hour 19 minutes ......not too bad but as I increase my distance and at the same pace(slow lol) I wonder how long a half would take me when I get there maybe 2 hours 50 minutes? or 3 hours? I dont know. We might see if I keep going.
  6. I ran with cody for 3.75 miles today, I am contemplating running in a half marathon in may....I am going to start training for it as if I am anyway to see if it is plausible for me. I run slow typically 12-13 minute miles, it varies. We will see.

  9. sorry but I have to say that I am happy that it isnt us in WI getting nailed......that being said stay safe and only go outside if there is no other choice. Stay in with a good book or movie whichever you prefer.

  11. I made venison stir fry for dinner with olive oil and lite soy sauce....has broccoli, cauliflower, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, green peppers, and mushrooms over rice it is nummy :)
  12. HI Brenndy welcome to the QT, the best decision you can make for yourself is the one you made to quit, it can be trying at times but it does get better trust us we will not lead you astray. :)

  17. this one is from sobelmans also......saw on facebook....yes that is a whole chicken WTF (I dont like tomato juice so I know I would not like bloody marys and that seems like a bit much to me lol)
  18. ran 5.2 miles with cody today I have been working out harder and tracking my calories for the past 15 days I will see in another 15 if it is doing any good.
  19. I walked on the treadmill this am and then did some squats and such
  20. ran this am with cody about 3.75 miles gonna run a 5k in march should be easy peasy since I normally run 6.5 miles.
  21. I have had this for years (I think) havent celebrated christmas in over 10 years cause everything bad that has happened to me has happened in the fall/winter. Both my miscarriages have happened in the fall(cant have kids these were my only pregnancies) I have had several family members die in the fall over the years. Overall I have always struggled with the fall/winter and the fact that it is dark and cold doesnt help. This year I tried something different, I decorated for christmas had people over for christmas eve. I am trying to keep up with working out and I am taking cody for walks outside (dressing warmly of course) I am trying to change my outlook on my life. It is hard though because occasionally the dark moods come out. I try to stifle them and focus on something else.
