  2. You will have support here and dont let anyone make you feel like you can not quit you can, be strong keep strong you have got this! :)
  3. Welcome to out humble abode on the internet.....quitting can be hard (if you let it) but it sooooooo worth it(cant stress that enough!)everyones quit is different so listen to everyones advise or strategies and use what helps you.......I breathed deeply when a craving hit, drink juice also helps. exercise is great to aid in quitting. anything to distract you from the habit will help......a craving only lasts a few minutes and every time you beat a craving down you become stronger just remember that :)
  4. Hugs for you and your daughter, she needs you now and for a long time so smoking, as you know, wont allow that so you dont allow smoking......I hope she has an successful surgery, easy recovery, and a good outcome from the surgery. Stay the strong person that you are.
  5. went for a 13 mile bike ride (bike is awesome!) this is one of the things I saw and the fish are jumping!
  6. Since I cant run (damn foot) I have a bike but it is a schwin and it is not the greatest ride, so today bit the bullet and let loose with my credit card and bought me a trek verve 1 bike from an actual bike store lol.....the owner was very helpful and informative on which size bike was good for me......we also ordered a bike for my hubs as the one he wanted was not in. Bonus is that Purple is my favorite color.

  9. I want you to breathe deep drink some juice.....know that it is your addictive brain screaming for nicotine cause it knows you will NOT give it any......it is completely normal to feel this way you are on track to becoming free from the addiction. You got this! edit: nicotine normally leaves your system within 72 hours so you will feel an abnormally strong pull towards a craving or two but power through it and you will be fine it is a normal cycle as far as quitting.
  10. this is when the craving will be stronger naturally you can do this you are strong!

  23. I have had excema on and off all my life with sensitive skin related to perfumed products and soaps use all-free for clothes and bounce free for dryer sheets.....my allergies have evolved to something a bit different as I got older, I used to be highly allergic to all cats as a kid but now only certain ones most I am ok around. I have slight environmental allergies in regards to respiratory but I have bad reactions to seasonal allergies in regards to my eyes puff up (kind of looks like excema around my eyes) itchy I use a script to ease that up along with zyrtec. I dont believe any of my allergies getting worse or better have anything to do with my quitting, It is a different animal entirely as what I am allergic to has changed over my lifetime, some go away some get worse.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
