  1. evelyn you have come so far you are stronger than you give yourself credit for.....you will get through this it is only temporary and as bad as it might be smoking would make it much much worse........be strong take deep breathes.. Even have a good cry. {{{{hugs}}}}

My sister in law lives in fox lake where the officer was shot yesterday by 3 pieces of sh*t (sorry but the only way I can describe them) They are still trying to find them today, they closed the schools and she said there were copters flying all over. I hope they find the losers but they haven't yet.

I am a RN in the OR I get to see all kinds of gory stuff lol.......I like camping, running, riding my bike, gonna try snowshoeing this winter bought them last year but not enough snow or guts to try it out so will try it this winter. I have been married 22 years and just got my first tattoos recently.
  4. yes plus it means winter and grey boring yucky is coming I like spring the most follwed by summer
  5. no DO NOT WANT summer to end need it here a little bit longer winter is long enough as it is....fall only lasts a minute then it is snow and crappy weather sooooo summer can stay as long as it likes

  8. It is wine friday of course it has been a long ass craptastic week the only positive thing that happened was my tattoo, happy to be off this weekend what is everyone else doing?
  9. of course they donate it is "good for business" purina is crap food at best there are better foods out there I feed mine nutro they are doing well on even the one with a sensitive belly
  10. Flip flops are quick and comfy and the closest to being barefoot as I hate shoes to be honest. :P

  14. went for a 6 mile walk after I did 30 minutes of squats and other weight stuff
  15. I am so happy this week is over now if someone would stop being cranky(not me) that would be awesome! sigh

    well on the plus side even though it is gross he is doing a good job keeping your yard vermin free? my duke and cody are mole hunters also it is gross.
  17. PLus I like things simple, and not too heavy on the prep part.
  18. I typically use cavenders greek seasoning on just about everything, not sure if you have it there but I love it, along with simple garlic powder. When I bake chicken breast I use lemon juice, cavenders, olive oil in a roaster with a little bit of water to keep it from burning or drying out. I love how it tastes
  19. first of all dont chew the gum it will introduce nicotine back into your system you are correct.....everything you are going through is normal for a healthy quit , please trust me when I say it will get better, how slow or how fast it will get better is very individualisitic. For your eating try to choose healthier options such as fruit or veggies, drink lots of water but try, at this point, not to stress about the weight as much but there are things you can do to combat it. Try going for a walk in fact make yourself get up off your but and go for a walk even if you do not feel like it, trust me you will feel better after it is done and accomplished for the deed. Find activities that you like to do and do them even if you do not feel like it just do it anyway. Tell the voices in your head that are telling you to not do anything to shut the heck up and go for i, trust me it will help. I lost 80 lbs through diet and exercise all while quitting smoking it can be done. Remember breathe very deep in and out slowly. If you like yoga, do yoga that can be very helpful in relaxing you and relieving your extra stress. You are at a stage where it feels hopeless but you have made it this far you can keep it up, please be strong. Kick yourself in the but and just do it for yourself not for anyone else but you!!! Post here all you need to, read all you need to, use distraction to aid in your quit. IT DOES GET BETTER HANG IN THERE PLEASE!!! Excellant job in posting here Lisa
  20. Ran this am a short run (all I have time for before work) but it was enough :)
  21. Naproxen and ibuprofen are nsaids..tylenol is acetaminophen and aspirin is in a diffferent category also
  22. Rode my bike for about 38 miles today lots of calories burned also did squats and some upper arm workout prior to riding
  23. did 30 minute strength which includes squats, kettle ball swings, upper arm workouts......then I ran 5 miles it was hot but doable....the third time this week I have run I think I have my running mojo back :)
