  7. Not always and only if you are using it to quit all things and not continue with ecigs. If not it is just trading one addiction with another. In other words of ecigs are used to quit fine but you need an end date for the ecigs also.
  8. Congrats on your 3 years my 4 years was September 16th
  9. Hard to believe I am 4 years free from smoking if you asked me 5 years ago if that was possible I would have laughed and said no but honestly anything is possible with a bit (or a lot) of willpower and strength. If you think you can't you can, it is possible, just get through it is completely worth it trust me. Now if I can lose weight I gained in the last year from too much fun and food that would be awesome lol. Need to step up my willpower in the weight loss side of life. I will do it just takes time. Here's to breathing easy!!!!

What is everyone else doing?
  15. I agree with beacon how most of us possibly used nicotine to self medicate essentially.....I know I always had anxiety and I think I used cigs to ease it up(even though it increases anxiety) now i am some medication that has been helping so far.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
