  1. I'm the same. I need space to mull it over in order to let it go.
  2. That's right! I get the feeling it's your stickie quit Indie. Now you know, and when you do, there's no going back. No reason.

  4. Hi
  5. Oh lawd.... nonononononono
  6. I should work every weekend! I'm so buried in backlog it's stunning. I'll need to put in some long days before summer hits and that includes weekends. :( Cha-ching is one of the perks I guess.
  7. I too was a bit trying to be around in the beginning  but those people who took the brunt of my angst are now saying how proud they are and how happy they are for me that I quit. Hang in there and they will too.
  8. I lean toward being a no nonsense kinda person so the 'get real, call bs on my drama' method worked with me. If I ever had a lingering thought, I would recall how I felt and what I was thinking the moment that I snuffed out that barely lit, last cigarette. I knew I didn't want to go back to feeling that way. I do recall getting pretty impatient with the healing process. I wanted to feel like one does at a year quit but I was only at 5 weeks and I remember Nancy saying oh so gently...you have a ways to go my dear. It helped. Romance is great. Just not with a suffocating, reaking nail of death. Cheery eh?

  10. She's a BABY you big brute!! And probably bored. Play with her. Give her a Kong with peanut butter. Buy her a big kennel. Send her to ME!
  11. Cold turkey, way to go! Happy you're back. With that cold turkey start behind you, you're going to slay opening boating weekend.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
