You know what Laura? We're both so new to this and what you went through today scares the sh*t out of me because it can happen to me too, so easily (meaning the high stress/smoking pattern). I am SO glad to know you're willing to get back on the quit path and not let this slip define your future. You already have knowledge, tools and you have a huge group of people to turn to so....find the groove in the path that you've already started to carve and move forward. Loved what Babs wrote...going to have to come back and read that one a few times. You can join me back in the wide-eyed, what the hell is happening newbie car if you'd like. Kinda bumpy back here but people check on us so it's all good. :)

Thanks everyone! I so very much appreciate all the support and camaraderie here on the QT. I'm grateful to have found you all and the tools available for helping on this quit journey. Like many of you may have thought about your own quits, I am STUNNED at this reality. 2 months! Who knew!! I was a die hard smoker for 36 years but..... Now I'm a non-smoker :). And never to forget....I'm also an addict. NOPEing daily. (gawd what a brilliant gift that tool has proven to be) I'm celebrating with a bit of sushi for lunch, a bit of chocolate this evening and buying a new pair of sox. :) Thank you. You're all the best, ever.

Re-watch the videos on how the corrupt, dirty tobacco companies use your body as a meaningless stepping stone on their way to the bank. Then ask yourself how good those cigs look....wanna get hooked again, pay with your lungs and peace of mind for others to enjoy their yachts and caviar?
