  15. Well, grrr. I get it and I'm sorry and I know it will pass! Tears heal and tears pass (at least that's what I told myself and after enough of them I convinced myself, lol) Smoking will not cure the anxiety. Animals are great for giving us perspective. Enjoy the innocence of the kitty.
  16. Ugh Jackie, sounds rough, so sorry. On the other hand, I'm glad you have the fortitude to stand up to it and know how to stay no. Control is yours.
  17. Sorry it's rough going. The only way I know how to beat sugar cravings is to not give into it at all and eventually it will subside. Sometimes I ease into it with some fruits but I won't have bananas, oranges, pineapple, grapes, etc...those high sugar fruits. And do drink lots of water. What you said about smoking masking things is pretty scary. I think it may be true for may of us. ETA doing low carb or Paleo eating will nip it in the bud in a hurry. And most people don't crave it at all.
  18. You ARE strong! Ya done good :). Cozy in with a smile on your face and sleep well.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
