I used to always have it shorter.... then a few years a go I let it grow and grow and grow for no particular reason.... and I cant imagine cutting it off.

    so...

bahahaha... I cant even do a normal braid. I just need to figure out the products best for wavy long hair to keep frizz out and such without it getting "crunchy" I guess...

    so...

this three day weekend I didn't dry or straighten my hair at all... which has never happened in forever. And I had all this extra time and it wasnt stressful or annoying knowing "ugh I have to go take a shower and do my hair" (I have really thick long hair and it takes forever to dry and straighten) I think Im getting to where I don't want to do those things anymore but Im so used to them I don't think I feel as awesome without doing it. /sigh

  12. haha I couldnt ever draw a stick figure before... I wouldnt call any of this art skills just doodles... if you just start with no intention in mind it is relaxing and freeing and just do what feel right without worrying about what the end result will be. :)
  13. someone/people asked at one point what to do now during times when they would smoke out of boredom... like while taking on the phone sitting on a porch on a nice day... or whatever other mundane things we do throughout the day. When I quit I randomly started doodling...drawing...coloring...during these times. it really makes the time pass and sometimes when i am done it's like sweet I like that... but even if its like... ugh wtf is that mess... doesn't matter still was relaxing and helped fill my time. And I LOVE Mandalas... they are so peaceful... you can do a lot of research about them online and they are super easy and good at centering you and calming you. not to mention great time filler. :) :)

  18. I still like reading regular books...like ross I like the smell and feel and turning pages...so sometimes i still use them. I decided to read game of thrones that way.... it is harder to carry around for bigger books or hold while laying down...yada yada Love my kindle for reading at night and for reading really large books. plus being able to highlight things and go back later to them.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
