  1. Erik firstly many congrats on 4 months, sometimes after the first few months of quitting we can become complacent which is possibly what is happening, as you said you have no desire to smoke but the addiction is still lurking a little, the high is maybe wearing off, keep reminding yourself of what you are achieving, high five yourself every day and keep patting yourself on your back. xxx
  2. Gorgeous pic DD, we took Christopher to see it for his Birthday, I love love love these films, it was epically amazing only downside for me no Loki :( xxx

  8. Hi Mike you need to do what is right for you in your life at this precise moment in time, what is best for you, not for anyone else, I for one am here to support you as much or as little as you may need, sometimes we need to reach out and feel the physical or mental force of human life, and sometimes we just want to pull the duvet over our heads and shut the world out, I judge no-one we are all here for a reason. Quitting, I do worry when I havent seen a fellow member for sometime and can only hope they are doing well, still quit and just not needing this little corner of the internet. Stay strong Mike post when and if you need, but above all please keep your quit. Hugs xx
  9. great post Marcus, changing our way of thinking, believing in ourselves, changing our rationale, breaking the chain, being stronger and being louder than the addiction, do not be afraid of the quit, embrace it for what it is and will be......life changing in a good way. Keeping the addiction alive will be life changing in ways we do not consider and choose not to believe. xx

  19. It is having the belief that these horrid craves do and will pass that get me through. When you are in the stronghold of a crave it is difficult to see past it, but being able to read all your re-affirming posts that they will and they do pass helps me so much more than any of you can know . The last few days have been very very testing indeed, and I hope that I have gained knowledge and strength from them to march onwards and upwards. Been really scary, do not want to go back I want to move forward. Thank you all ........................and Bakon showered and sitting in flip flops, :P xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
