I'm re-reading The Stranger by Albert Camus. I'm not sure why. I read it like 20 years ago in college. The Cure has a song called "Killing of An Arab" based on this book. I heard the song recently, so thought I'd read the book again.

We haven't gotten a second grill, MQ, but need one. I do love The Green Egg, but it is an art. No flip a switch and grill for sure, but it really does make for some nice tasting meat - seriously everything we have ever made has been so tasty!!! However, we don't use it to it's full potential - it really is meant to be a slow cook smoker, but hub & I are not patient or skilled enough for that. Maintenance is kind of a pain too. Since it is charcoal, you have to clean up all the ashes for proper airflow every time - unlike a gas grill where you can just burn off the residue and deep clean on occasion. Plus, if you you want to quick grill something like zucchini, the Green Egg doesn't fire up quickly. I love grilled food though, so a basic gas grill is definitely on my shopping list. :) Thanks for asking. :) I saw your model at home depot - it's on my radar. :)

Sounds like so much fun! I have always wanted to go on a cruise too, but hubster is reluctant. Maybe I can look into this type of compromise. :)

I bought Game of Thrones through Amazon Prime. I agree that it is a little cumbersome. I couldn't get it to load on our TV one day (we have a Smart TV), but that may have been our sucky internet connection. Liked the first episode of HOC, MQ. It is not one to watch with our kids, but hub & I liked it. :) We are also watching One Upon a Time on Netflix. Another kid friendly one. It's pretty good. :)

We've been watching Psyche for several months - a couple episodes here and there. It's great cuz it is something we can watch with the kids. Gonna check out House of Cards tonight.

Sorry - was gonna post and got called away. :) My Mom calls me Petra or Petra D. More when I was a kid, but she still does occasionally. I like being Petra here on the QT. :) Makes me feel so undercover. lol My real name is Dionne, which most everyone mispronounces and misspells til they know me. Pair it with my last name, and it takes an hour for someone to get it right. My pic was taken about a month ago when I was wearing a new shirt and having a really good hair day. Selfie day for sure. LOL. Salt and Pepper Pistachios and red mix well (that one goes back a while, Bakon!). 80's and early 90's for sure (and maybe a bit of late 70s), but of course, I love me some Katy Perry too! Backseat girl - not stealing any titles from our Babs. :) A racoon or porcupine stole the bird nest :( Revolt of the misfits - I'm a lover, not a fighter. I say Yes to flip flops and clean coochies! ;) And.....I remember the running Sarge. :)

I have actually taken wine back if it is bad. This has only happened twice, but I paid like 9-10 dollars. The last time I did this, they looked at me all weird, like I was some alkie trying to score free booze. They smelled the bottle and gave me all these crusty looks. Then told me that people refill the bottles. So if you are brave enough to be scrutinized, take it back next time you get a bad bottle. :) Come to think of it, I was a member of monthly wine club for a while, and I got a couple of bad bottles from that too. They would give a credit, but they weren't as mean about it. One bottle was so bad! It was leaking and bubblying at the opening. GROSS! Of course, I didn't even open that bottle to try it. Hope your next bottle was better. :)
