  1. Smoking is such a flipping beotch. Punch it in the face! Seriously though, for some of us it takes a couple of "tries." When we stop trying and starting "doing," that is when we succeed. I'm going to DO this now. I'm going to STOP. I am free. I may have struggles and want to smoke, but I will not. I will distract myself. I will cry. I will look in the mirror and say NOT AT THIS MOMENT CIGARETTE! NOT EVER. I HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO SMOKE ,AND I WILL NOT SMOKE. You can do it Laura. Don't ever give up and believe you can't. You can.

  9. The breakfast casserole was a total WIN!!! Our games however, were not. :( I didn't make the sun dried tomato pasta dish last night, but will try to get it done tomorrow.
  10. Ok. Done! I think I figured out the leg raises. I took a couple of before pics (man, I need some sun). Gonna hit the eliptical for 10-20 minutes. I'll take measurements before I shower and before I eat that yummy pasta I posted on the What's for Dinner thread. lol P.S. - planks sucked - gonna have to work on those for sure! :)
  11. How do you do the leg raise? On your back or standing?
  12. So, should I do dishes, then go workout (she says in a procrastinating manner...) I may take a before pic. That way I can set an actual goal and really get motivated to see some results. I would like to see some actual definition, instead of my cushy little wine gut & butt. haha
  13. I am assigned breakfast for my daughter's volleyball tourney tomorrow (they tourneys last all day, so all the moms bring food to share and we are assigned something different each time). I'm planning to make this, so the girls will be sure to get lots of protein (parents gotta stay energized to watch all day too. ;) http://therecipecritic.com/2014/12/best-breakfast-casserole/
  14. Yum!!! I love homemade Asian dishes. I made a peanut sauce sitr fry a while back and it was pretty good. I'll have to do it again soon. I think I may try this tonight. It looks DELISH!!!! It may be a little on the heavy side, but my daughter does need to carb up for volleyball tomorrow. :) http://juliasalbum.com/2014/10/chicken-mozzarella-pasta-with-sun-dried-tomatoes/

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
