  1. I'll try. :) but technically, I'm more of a 9-11 EST, which I think is 7-9 Mountain Standard. Depends on if we go somewhere that day. :)
  2. I love to listen to songs I can sing to. I like to pretend I am a rock star, like Katy Perry or Pink or Madonna or Linda Ronstadt (Spanish version) or the lead singer of the Motels or Blondie or AC/DC or... or... or ..... Seriously - gives me great relaxation and pleasure even if anyone around me is putting in ear plugs. :)

    The Best!!!

So, I'm on Facebook and Twitter (on occasion), and other important to me social media places, but honestly, you are all then best! I have personal past and present "real life" friends. You all ROCK!!! This is the best site EVER!!! Quit Smokers Are AWESOME!!!
  5. Yes, I'm so naturally blonde. I'm so lucky!!! None of that hair dye, high lights, low lights. All natural. I can't explain the color difference, Bakon Mystery to me.........
  6. DD has cool hair for sure! Yours is pretty cool too, Ava! Hair DIVAS! :)
  7. Great to see you Joe. Sorry to hear of all the health issues, but it sounds like you have a lot of great family around.
  8. We all come here from different corners of our own little worlds to quit smoking. Way to go!!! Every smoke free day is a blessing to all of us. :)
  9. Welcome Carlos!! What a great decision you have made!!!! You'll be so happy to have quit so young!!!
  10. Enjoy!!! :)
  11. Welcome NOPE! I'm sorry you are going through a rough patch. Addiction is such a crazy awful thing. You know it isn't physical anymore, so just keep saying NOPE! Maybe try to stop any conversations that come up in your head. You overwhelming know the answers to those questions, and they aren't helping you. Conversations that celebrate your freedom, how great not smoking feels, how much better you look and feel are all awesome though!!! I hope you are planning something super special for your one year celebration!!! We look forward to getting to know you better on the lido deck, so hang in there. :) Also, congrats for quitting at the young age of 30! My only regret about quitting is that I didn't do it sooner! :)
  12. I'm here cuz Not Smoking Rocks!!! :)

  17. Picked my daughter up from the airport after her 8th grade trip to DC!!! Happy to have my Girl back home.
  18. (((((((LOVE MY QUITTER FRIENDS!!!!))))))
  19. I LOVE egg casseroles. Eggs, hash browns, cheese (I like to mix jalepeno jack & sharp cheddar), bacon (or sausage or ham), green chilis. YUMMY!!! I put hash browns, cheese, bacon & Green chilis in a bowl and mix it together, then put it in a baking dish. Then beat 8-12 eggs with like a half cup or so of cream. Pour over & Bake. Maybe not the healthiest with the cheese & potatoes & bacon, but so good!!! I made this for one of our volleyball tournament days. It was devoured. Kids & parents alike loved it. :) Check Pinterest. That's where I found the recipe. It didn't have green chilis, but you can add ingredients that you like. :)
  20. I lived on chips and hot salsa and peanuts early in my quit. I liked shelled peanuts, cuz it took that extra step and kept my hands busy. :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
