  1. I'm happy for you that your quit was easy!! :) Sorry it was boring. :)
  2. Yes - a shower/bath is an awesome idea. You can cry your eyeballs out and still feel all warm and clean and smell good from the pretty smelling soaps. :)

    Wine Party?

lol Looks like I get to play taxi driver and have kids at home tonight, so no adult activities for me. I may get some off duty time at 8:30 my time, so I'll try to pop in and see if anyone is still around then. :) Meanwhile, maybe one of my awesome Quitter friends can get the party started with this song for me:
  4. Don't throw your quit time away and have to start over. You'd be so sorry for it the very moment you inhale.
  5. One will lead to smoking full time agiain. We smokers can't have just one.
  6. Keep fighting, Amy!!! You are doing great. Take some deep breaths. Try to read something, a book, flip through a magazine. Distract yourself. You can do this girl. Know how much stronger you will be when you get through today. Stay here with us. Start our chat party. Just pop into the chat room and people will follow.
  7. Hello and Welcome!!! :) I haven't been over to the Introductions page yet, but if you haven't already that is a great place to introduce yourselves! :)

    SOS.

Hope you are doing okay Rowly. Please don't smoke. Please know the feeling will pass. It may not feel like that now but it will. I promise. Great job on crushing that single, don't buy anymore. Buy an ice cream instead. Come back here. Please let us know how you are doing.

    Wine Party?

We may be kid free for the evening, which means I won't be here. But if we do have kids here, I will be here. :)
  10. Enjoy your day with you sweet baby girl. Too soon she will be turning 13 and going to middle school dances looking all gorgeous and grown up. :) Enjoy your garage & beer time too! Balance is the key and it will be well deserved! Remember to offer your wife some "garage" time too sometimes. :) Good Friday to you! :)
  11. You are doing so great Amy and you are such a pleasure to have on the board!!! You will do fine at the party. If you think about smoking, remember all of us cheeering you on to stay quit. You can totally do it!!! Happy Easter!
  12. That is awesome, Paula!!! I didn't save mine in a jar either, I do little things for myself along the way. I do get a massage once a month to six weeks. I suppose that is how I spend my smoke money. A massage is way healthier than smoking and feels sooooo good! :)
  13. YAY, MARTI Congrats on five days. You posted on one of my threads when I was having a bad day, and I won't forget that! You are doing great.
  14. ((((Sarah)))) Please pamper yourself today. Quitting smoking will give you strength even though you don't feel it right now, you will. You are getting through the worst of it, so hang in there. Sorry about the ex, but it sounds like it is for the best. Be happy and proud of both of your decisions and move forward positively.
  15. Congratulations Carly!!!! 8 Months is AWESOME!!!! :)
  16. AWESOME!!! Congratulations Christa!
  17. Hope to see you back soon, Susana.
  18. Juan! You are a non-smoker. Non-smokers do not smoke. Not when they are happy, not when they are sad, not when they are mad. You are done with it, so DO NOT SMOKE.
  19. Last night - hand to mouth glass raises at the wine bar. Tonight - I'll either kick my butt in Total Conditioning class at the gym, or fart around on the treadmill. Time will tell.
  20. Great to see you handsome, young, Delta!!! Happy to year that you are doing well and that you are five months quit!! Awesome!!!
  21. Welcome Chrispy!!! Happy to see you here! :)
  22. Loved it, Chrispy! LOL - That was funny. :)
  23. I love Jeni too!!!!
  24. This is hilarious!
  25. Hope today is better, Trish! Hang in there! Sorry I posted late! But I do hope you are having a great day! :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
