I agree, Ex-T ... Once our sense of smell returns, it's amazing how good things smell.... Alternately...the bad smells are more noticeable also. :( I remember walking out to the mailbox to get the mail one day, and having to wait for a car to pass before I could cross the street....apparently the driver was a smoker...passing me at 45mph, I could smell his cigarette!! I couldn't believe it...lol But, thankfully there are more nice smells out there than bad ones. :D Great mantra ....

Congrats Jackie... It was evident from your early posts that you had your head wrapped around this quit and was going to succeed! But....dont ever forget how bad smoking was ... Many months into my quit, the thought would enter my mind that quitting wasn't as bad as I thought it would be....I figured I could smoke one and have no problem with it... I mentally smacked myself in the face to bring me back to reality....there is no " just one " we are all "one puff away, from a pack a day habit." .. Your encouragement to others here is great. It's good to hear from someone who has / is going through the same thing... You're a tremendous asset to the board... Way to go!!
