Welcome Jay...I am glad to see you post...Since you have "quit" before, you know what a struggle the first few days/weeks will be.
Any time you feel the need to light up, post an SOS...you will see that forum at the top of the list. There is quite a few members who have it linked to there phone, so usually within minutes of posting to it, someone will be around to "talk you out of it"..
Seriously...use this board and the resources it offers...read..read...read....and one more thing...READ!!! Knowledge of the addiction will tip the scales in your favor....
The thing that did it for me was realizing I am an ADDICT...no different than someone addicted to crack or heroin its just my drug is legal and (somewhat) socially accepted...I couldn't understand why people would throw their life away and potentially kill themselves just to get high....of course I was lighting a cigarette while thinking it...there is no difference...
The addiction is strong....you are stronger. ..you will be tested, but you CAN come out on top!
Post often...We are all "ex" smokers, so what we say will come from our experiences from our quits...we have all been there..we can help you to get to where we are...free from the addiction!
Welcome aboard!..
