I remember a few dentist appointments.....I got the "you don't smoke speech" I nodded and then I left. Before I started the car I already had a cigarette in my mouth..I couldn't feel it, my lip was numb. Neither could I really smoke it, because half of my mouth was just hanging there...I smoked it anyway...well I tried. I must have been the most pathetic smoker out there! I am not kidding..I can post on this thread for months!

Oh Gosh CS you are right.........I coughed so hard in the mornings...I often feared there might be blood! Almost forgot about that You are friends with Toothbrush-Toilet dipping Julie?

There are 2-3 circumstances in my head were I can imagine that I would smoke :-(

OK ...I have a question for the very confident longtime quitters (like the Sarge + Bakon) "Were you guys like us.....struggling a little bit at the beginning..but biting the bullet anyway? Did you guys need the support as much as we do ...when you started your quit. Did you guys relapse and maybe had to start over? I guess I want to know if I might sound as confident as you guys are -one day!

Maybe it's just me, but I would like to be allowed to ask some members a questions. I don't have personal questions (I think) just curious and have some "smoke questions". So how do I do that...just "bug" somebody with a PM and hope they read it...or ask openly like in a thread?

and may you all have more money left then I do after paying them :-)

I think about Mrs. Bakon almost every day!

I haven't used a SOS and doubt I ever will....but I came close twice....I went for long walks instead. I felt exactly like you. It was easy, a few obstacles now and then, but nothing dramatic. One really bad day in week 3, but it wasn't dramatic either. I consider myself a non-smoker, but I know I am still traveling...my journey hasn't ended! That's why I responded to my own SOS - just in case. I like to be prepared -if possible!
