  5. @Stewbum, put it this way, if you are only competing against your Stickies, that isn't much of a challenge!! When @Doreensfree comes back, and some other Chickies, we will whip your A$$....LOL!!! Anyway, How are you doing Stew? I hope you are handling everything that has been going on in your life the past week! I wish you and your family all the best!!

  14. You are doing great! As @Reciprocity said, one day at a time! The first week is the hardest, that's why it's called Hell week! But it truly does get easier the longer you don't do it. In addition to that sugarless gum you are chewing, why don't you try carrot and celery sticks, if you like them. The constant chewing of gum is not good for your teeth, even if it is sugar free. Celery and carrots are nice and crunchy so that might help you too. Just keep coming on here and you will see how it will help you and how the time will pass very quickly.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
