  1. About an hour ago. When was the last time you gave someone a knuckle sandwich?
  2. I head B & J have some kind of PB & J ice cream now...
  3. I think I saw him whiz by on I-80 last week on his way to Jenny....
  4. Just think, another success will be in the books! And you don't have to smell all yucky anymore.
  5. I think couple weeks ago at the wine/decaf chat party. Talking about that darn moonshine. When was the last time you chipped a tooth?
  6. How you keep them rabbits from taking off with the loot? Can't they go under the fence?
  7. Call in sick. Boom.
  8. 2 days?? Almost as good as this:
  9. Well...Since you asked.... ;) There is a 'super secret fangirl' group that this author has. We all hail to her. And we are her 'biggest fans.' Well....*this* biggest fan has not read a particular trilogy of hers. In my defense!! I like to save things, because you can only read them the first time once. And of course I bought them all on release day. So this new series she started is a spin off of the previous TAT series. And she was looking for a beta reader from the group who has not read the previous series as this one is also supposed to be able to be read as a stand alone series. And low and behold, it looks like I'm either the only one, or the only one who admitted it to not reading it yet. :rtfm: Now to see if it makes sense as a stand alone I guess is where I come in. I wished I could say it's just because the author thinks I am that awesome they are sharing with me early, but there was actually a reason behind it. I still feel special though!
  10. Awe, pets are so important. They are lucky to have a mama like you.
  11. True WYE! I so rarely drink, I think I have drank 3? times since I quit, but no real hangover to speak of the next day.
  12. YAY! Luv ya, great job.
  13. That is awesome!! It's SOOO much easier to not do it alone. I am not sure I would have been able to.
  14. I was so nervous my first outing too. Main thing is: KNOW you are not going to smoke. When you take it off the table, it takes the gut-wrenching indecision "will I or won't I?" away. Think about how great it will be to be there and not be the smoking social pariah. Three weeks is AMAZING. This will be another success in the books for you. Remember, we got your back, and if you need to check in here on your mobile, please do so. I saw this cartoon the other day, and it's so true. There is NO place anymore smokers are accepted. We are way better off without that horrible monkey on our backs.
  15. Hahah @ spelling. I think it looks fancier when you guys add the 'u' but still... So far I have lived through the mold eating incident. It was just a few bites but still. Yuck!
  16. I have, in my possession, a manuscript 80% written by one of my fave authors for my review. Release date 6/15. (Long story why she wants my input in particular.) She tole me that I am the only person who has seen it thus far, to keep the plot under wraps. Of course! :yahoo:
  17. You guys spell it funny!! ;-)
  18. Welcome! I am always so happy for people that are going to finally take their lives back. I'm late to the welcome wagon but lots of good responses here. Here is a group of people that have all been exactly where you are now, we understand completely! And we are living proof quitting *is* doable. We are all here for you.

    Blech

So I decided I would have a small piece of French bread. Small slice, no big whoop. I was like hmmm. The tastes like $%&* Look down and there is mold all over the side. :wacko22: Blech. I still feel like I'm gonna yack.
  20. Woo hoo!! Freedom is such a nice thing. You are awesome!! Well done.
  21. Zoom zoom!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
