I agree with Paul, I wasn't smoking, but I was far from 'over it' at 6 months. I wondered if that was as good as it got. A couple months down the line from there, I started to really feel like a nonsmoker in my own head. It's a weird, but great feeling. -

I'll be totally honest, when I quit I told myself I didn't have to quit the gum until I was good and ready. That crutch helped me through. Then when I tossed the gum I was prepped and ready to handle the physical withdrawal. I had none. Zero. Zip. Nada. I was very surprised and happy about that.
