  1. Ohhh Joe. Thinking of you. That stinks.
  2. Great to see you again. We are here for you!
  3. Agreed! Welcome Jess.
  4. Oh Nancy, I'm sorry to hear it. ((Nancy))
  5. That is GREAT news! I am so happy to hear it. Sounds like the women in your family are tough cookies. Life will be so much better for all of you. Especially your sis, hope she feels better soon.
  6. I have today: -read my awesome Dreg city book -took dogs on long walk and played with them many hours trying to tire them out -watched like 6 eps of parks and rec on Netflix w/Solange. I hate when weekends come to a close.

Me too. We'll be here xoxo
  8. Oh HM I am so sorry to hear it. My thoughts are with you.
  9. Marti, very well done to you. I couldn't be happier for you. You are always making us laugh and we are so happy to be here with you on your journey
  10. Yogi, it won't be long now until you will be at a year. Take a moment to think about how awesome you have done and how great it is to be free of addiction. It's a whole different life for you now :)
  11. Great job sir! I was shocked to find this picture of you and MQ online for all to see though..
  12. I'm reading this while on a stair stepper at my gym, and I just feel incredibly lucky right now. But for the grace go I...
  13. That is a GREAT idea!! :D
  14. That was one of my biggest concerns!! How could I possibly "get through the day" without my "one escape." I am so happy to tell you that YES it does go away. I am not sure exactly when it did, it took awhile but now I almost never think of smoking in times of stress. Now I don't really have a stress reliever, don't need it, just work through the stress on move on. And it's totally ok.
  15. DD. I just found out the author of Dreg City is taking a break from writing for a while. She still has 6 & 7 to release eventually. :((. She said she works in retail and really busy this time of year. What? Amazing author like that working retail? It's bc it's an over saturated market. Anywho! Since this a Q thread, name one thing you are looking forward to this weekend, and one chore you are dreading,
  16. DD that is crazy. That poor child. The forever part was always ok for me bc if I were going day to day (NTAP today) then I'd be redoing my thought process about it everyday. And for me that is too daunting, bc it leaves that door in my mind open for variables. I just need smoking off the table altogether. Boom.
  17. Yay for Friday! I'm staying in bed until Monday.
  18. Me too. We'll be here waiting!
  19. E, the gum was critical to me in my quit. Gave me the confidence I lacked when I was smoking. Well done!
  20. Nope over here too!
  21. I am still nervous about that whole thing :/
