  1. Sorry this image is big, but I just ordered a new debit card with this pic as the my image
  2. Thanks all!! Could not have done it without you guys :friends: :give_heart:
  3. For the record, I have never mud wrestled. Lies, all lies. Bakon was spotted speedin' down I-80 after Petra I hear. And Babs was speeding after him (so I'm told)..
  4. TYME! Great job, you should be celebrating, patting yourself on the back, and tap dancing on the roof. This is a big deal. :)
  5. Jen's don't smoke no more!
  6. Hilarious! Love me some Britney. :D
  7. Yes!! Onward and upward for you. 3 months is HUGE and you should be very happy with yourself. A big congrats :D
  8. Doing the sit ups...since one's behind doesn't stay in one place on the carpet floor. Very painful.
  9. Today I ran 2 miles and did 110 floors on stairstepper. I rolled into one of the free classes at my gym tonight, a core class. It was really a good one. Ouch. I tried telling the instructor of my injuries sustained during the abs challenge (tush rubbed totally raw), but she didn't seem too interested. Ha!
  10. Michelle yes there are lots of us that will be your workout buddies! Just start your own thread and what you want to start working out with
  11. I think Nike has the best running shoes. I've only had a few pairs admittedly but they seem to be the best.
  12. Sonic, don't make me have to punch you!
  13. Rob, so nice to see you. Keep hold of that rope, you will be so much happier for it. You have read Allen Carr?
  14. Then we gotta do something different. How about a saddlebag challenge?
  15. You were spot on when you said no one ever craved smoking forever. Sorry, if it were the case that the cravings never stopped, I'd either a) have relapsed or b ) be pretty friggin angry that I wasn't smoking. It's all temporary, just gotta get through the early days! For a lot of us, we struggled. But it *is* doable.
  16. I remember how truly elated I was that I made it to 7 days, I thought I wouldn't make it 7 hours. You got this! Tough times only make our successes sweeter.
  17. Ran around the lake by my house first thing this am. 4 miles. I haven't really ran for about 5 days so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go it, but all went well!
  18. So I tried spinning this morning on a whim at my gym because their fitness classes are included in membership price. It was kind of a nice feeling to know that I am in good enough shape that I can just waltz right in and have no worry that it would be too hard or I wouldn't be able to keep up. (Though I still really need to work on getting back into the swing of abs routine.) It was fine, I was sweating like crazy, but at the same time did not find it super difficult. Which seems kind of odd, but that is how it went. I would recommend spinning for anyone.
  19. Congrats on the newfound freedom. This is such an inspiring post, things may not be all puppy dogs and rainbows right at first, but you have taken back control of your life. Welcome! We are here to help in any way that we can.
  20. CPK this is awesome! :ok:  You are pushing through and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Well done you.
  21. She needs to get her butt back here!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
