  2. Nowadays there are a lot of good substitutions. Allen Carr's Easy Way to Lose Weight I think would be a great book, only reason I say that is because in it he talks a lot about the pros of not eating meat.
  3. Standing on my back deck is sub-zero temps in a blizzard. Had my Ugg boots by the door and the most ridic cap that had cat ears on it. Now I complain in my head just running to my car in parking lot b/c so cold. I don't know how I did it all those years. Oh wait, I know how, I was an addict ;-)

  7. I know what you mean. I used to stay quiet more (not 100%, but tried to not say too much) because I generally felt like people would be waiting to pounce on me if there was any way at all that what I said could be taken the wrong way. I saw it happen daily to people, and I just didn't find it beneficial to anyone-or their quits-to argue for the sake of arguing online. I don't feel like that here, and I hope everyone here feels that same level of comfort. I'm all for people respectfully disagreeing, variety is the spice of life! But the pots shots are what are unnecessary and awkward.

  14. 100 big ones! And I've heard...some people have run out. They are pretty lucy goosey with the likes evidently. I remember when I had to walk uphill both ways to get my hands on a few extra likes.
  15. If someone would have told me before I quit that I'd be much happier/less stressed after quitting, I'd have thought they had lost their minds. But the truth of it is....quitting IS doable. Even for the hardcore junkie like me. We will help you!

  19. Day 2: Ran for 22 min again, abs for 10 min this time. Not 'easy peasy' BUT definitely no 'wheezy' today.

  22. Wolfie, I was really reluctant to try, but it tastes almost exactly the same. which was surprising to me. I have only tried eggplant one time prior to the new lasagna, to this and did not care for it
  23. Eggplant lasagna. Delicious and low cal for those of us who are trying to watch what we eat.
