  11. When I was at the same time as you, I would have struggled and would have refused. I remember reading, "You don't get extra points for making quitting more difficult." So I put myself out of harms way as much as possible early on; when I reached about four months, I KNEW smoking was no longer an option and everything about quitting eased up with this mindset. I think you are very close to this point Marti if you just keep on a little more. I don't take my quit for granted but I know the nostalgia is just a lie, a pattern nicotine wrote in my brain. Posting and reading here will reinforce your quit and so will the number game.
  12. 1 Good morning

  14. That was a great guess Colleen. Here's where I had my favorite pizza of all time - this is what you see when you walk in I found this place on the last day of our trip to Sorrento Italy; if I found it on the first day I wouldn't have wanted to eat anywhere else.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
