  2. http://www.quittrain.com/topic/2008-quit-tool-boxes/ Here's your toolbox post. I know you won't smoke Tracey, from the looks of your toolbox, when a smoking thought pops up just say, "I don't want to smoke."
  3. The quicker you dismiss these thoughts the easier it will get. Make it a game with yourself; when your mind suggests a cigarette immediately respond, "smoking's not an option", or "I don't smoke". Use whatever phrase that has power to you. Don't engage these thoughts and waste time with them. The nicotine addiction feeds on emotion so work on controlling your emotions (hard to do I know). I think you wrote a post about tools you can use, maybe have a look at that again. And remember we are all with you, use our collective strength if you need it.

  6. You have lost a doubt that was holding you back, forward now!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
