^^^ Yes to this! It absolutely gets better with time. You will build new norms and your nonsmoking muscles will get stronger day by day. It’s a beautiful thing.
But until that gels, lean on us. Stay close to the board and tell us about your journey, successes and frustrations. We’ve been there. Folks here will keep you company, provide a reality-check, make you laugh, and serve as accountability buddies.
You seem to have a good grasp on some of your triggers - that’s great, it will help you protect your quit to know when you’re especially vulnerable.
No doubt about it, quitting feels wretched for a while. But remember, cravings are not commands. The are just loud obnoxious commercials shouting about crap you don’t wanna buy. You can change the channel. We’re here to help!
