  13. Thanks for the welcome @DenaliBlues. Sorry I’m so late answering but just meandering around the website and came across your post. Hope you are still doing good. I am doing great. An occasional thought but, thank God, it’s just a thought, not even a crave, and it is fleeting. Let me know you’re still here if you get the chance.
  14. NOPE! Ooopsie! Already posted. My bad.
  15. Thanks, Jillar.
  16. JudiMD is my current. Joined Feb 5, 2022, I believe. Thanks, Jillar. Sorry for the confusion. I was confused, too.
  17. That would be wonderful. I tried to fix it but just couldn’t. JudiMD is my current one. Judi is from 2015. I believe that’s correct.
  18. Trying to figure out where to paste my sticker on my profile! Grrrr
  19. I really think it’s a mindset. It was for me, anyway. Everybody is different. Are you ready? Did you just jump in or did you do lots of reading first? For me, it took getting into the right mindset. My mindset changed when I was diagnosed with lung cancer and lost half a lung through surgery. I would not suggest doing it that way. Read read read read and stay on this board. Good luck to you and never stop trying.
  20. I am committing to one year. I would like to commit to the rest of my life, but that may be over-zealous, even though, today, I feel that confident. Losing a lung may leave you short of breath, but not short of common sense. I know why I’m here, I know what I have to do, and I’m just thankful enough to God for saving my life to feel I’ll succeed this time.
  21. Great post! Thank you for sharing this.
  22. NOPE!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
