  2. 30 Days Smoke Free!! I want to thank everyone who has helped my wife and I get through the first 30 days. It was tough but my Wife and I were tougher! She went "Cold Turkey"and I chose the Nicotine patch route that seems to be working just fine. Thanks again and I'll keep posting along our journey to a Nicotine free life.

  9. Hello, been on the Patch 9 days now. I am also a Cannabis user with a license and use it for personal and Physical issues. Will this prove to be a problem? I see it as a substitute in that at least I'm smoking something. I've tried edibles but they are too expensive and don't seem to do the same thing.
  10. I have a question, Should I start a New thread?
  11. 9th day of being Nicotine sober. On the Patch but stll having cravings from time to time.🙁

  15. Thanks everyone!! You all are so gracious and uplifting all at the same time. My wife and I have been together for 30 years! I'm 55 and she's 48. I'm on the Patch and she's doing it "Cold Turkey". What a "trooper" she is!!!! This is only our 4rd day but it's going very nicely. I still have cravings but somehow fight through them with Meditation and sleep. I'm disabled and don't work. So this works out for me. She works remotely and stays very busy during the week. Thanks and follow us please for advice. SAL and Anita

  23. Cannabis just became legal here in Connecticut. I don't have a problem with it. Smoking scares me to quit have smoked for 40 years now. The Anxiety meds are addictive as well as the Pain Meds. I've Already detoxed from those. NEVER again!!
  24. Jillar, I can't afford afford the High prices of edibles here. I pay $76 for a Half ounce a week. That's the cheapest around and it helps. Back to smoking, I am committed , just need a little kick in the Ass.
  25. Our goal is January 1st for a true quit date. She also said she would do it with me. I will watch the tapes and love the way everyone is so helpful !! :::: }}}}}
