The hospital that I used to work in had a gazebo that was allocated for smokers. I remember trekking to that place multiple times daily in all sorts of weather. Now I think "what an idiot I was". I don't look down at smokers but I do catch myself commenting if I smell smoke. I stay away from them not because I want one but because I am having a very Clockwork Orange sort of reaction to the smell.

Smoking in Texas (and other places)

Savannah recently banned smoking from bars and eating establishments and are currently working on getting it banned from parks. They are trying to pass smoking laws that are similar to New York's laws. -

Susana when the quit is hard remember that tomorrow will suck less than today does. That is what got me through all of my rough patches... the thoughts were "Well today sucks but it sucks less than yesterday did." You got through yesterday and you don't want to repeat it. You can do this, I know that you can.
