I had a dream recently and it took me by surprise and that’s why I came back to read the boards. It was just as vivid as the dreams that I had when I first quit. I woke up with that horrible guilt. When I realized it was only a dream a wave of relief hit me. I haven’t read the threads and pledged in a few months, the dream was my call back, I guess.

Give, Do you know how awesome it is that you came and posted an SOS? No matter how bad it feels in the moment, it passes. I am sorry for your health issues, deep down you knew that smoking wasn’t going to help, and you reached out for help. Well done. I know that this sounds cliche but it does get better. I have a laundry list of health problems that may not have completely gone away but since I quit have improved greatly. Again, great job reaching out.
