  3. 25 days and counting

  4. And when I hit 30 days on Saturday I'm running cross country stark naked, AHAH!!!
  5. You guys crack me up, this is nothing compared to some of the mud thrown a couple of years ago. I call that entertainment, Luv Yu Guy, pinkies and all:) Hey I'm 25 days in now, hardly think about it any more.
  6. Have been getting regular compliments about how much healthier I look. Now it seems I can almost tell who smokes and who does not just by looking at their complexion.
  7. As the days progress, it gets exponentially easier, trust me. ONE very important piece of advice I can give you, NEVER RUN OUT OF MUNCHIE FOOD, and if you can stomach it, ORANGE JUICE. Don't worry about weight gain, that can be lost later. Food, fun food, junk food, and OJ, all good things when you get cravings. Not the catch all solution but one that does work most of the time:)
  8. 3 weeks and counting

  9. I'm bored, think I'll dance naked to liven things up:) LOL
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfy18ynhWNU Tune Weavers, Happy, Happy Birthday Baby! What I play for most birthday parties

  12. Yes folks, 18 days and I'm bored, so what happened to the entertainment here at the Quit Train?
  13. That's a rap for this highly eventful night of one and one half visitors. LOL See ya'll Wednesday night:)
  14. A very attractive lady told me that I look 5 to 10 years younger since I quit smoking. Ya don't forget stuff like that, so eat your heart out Bakon:)
  15. 2 weeks and counting

  16. Just because you quit smoking doesn't mean you can't socialize in the middle of the night BAKON:(
  17. I'm sure you will be fine, you've gone a whole month already, perhaps it is all the dry air in the area where you live or from how you are heating your home. When I first moved to Carson City, I coughed up blood for a couple of weeks because the air is so dry here. Let us know what the doctor says and hang in there.
  18. Umm, broke down and bought a giant Hershey's chocolate bar, YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. No matter how you look at it, I'm freeeeeeeeee! It's Saturday night, IS ANYONE OUT THERE? PING, PING
  20. Luv you guys:)
  21. The day I quit, I went out and spent all my cigarette money on high quality foods, enough to last about a month or so. I am also getting ready to run a mile a day at least 4 days a week with my new running shoes. The only thing I miss is chocolate, junk food, and other sweet stuff. Not because I'm weight conscious, seriously, I'm trying to gain weight. I just can't afford it. Financial problems are just temporary, I'm working on a second job.
  22. If there is anyone here on QuitTrain from Indonesia area around Guam, the Philipines, Taiwan etc. please contact me somehow. I have critical information about some unusual weather that may be hitting the area about the Mariana Trench just south of Guam, AKA "Challenger Deep". It could be nothing but it would be nice to talk with someone from that locale. I am predicting unusually high tides and perhaps a tropical cyclone on or around the 8 or 9th of this month. The recent earthquake in Taiwan and major volcanic activity just south of Japan are related. PING!!!
  23. I just did the math, it's morning between 8 and 11 am in the Netherlands. Good to know someone is up and around when I am. FYI, I used to work for Philips of Indhoven, was friends with Peter Philips. Just a little trivia LOL
  24. Correction, Ivy is 4 days into her quit, so proud of her.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
