  1. Hey, you can blame Bakon, he made me do the misspelling.
  2. A social media party right here on the Quit Train or bust. It is way too lonely around here when I'm on line so I'm pulling out all the stops. 8pm to 1am Pacific Time
  3. Word to the wise, don't let on about your valuable possesions especially things like bicycles and other easy to steal stuff, on social medias that is. I own nothing of value so bite me:) Quit steeling my eggs Bakon, LOL
  4. And the moon was approximately 405,000 kilometers away. Where was the moon on your first day of quit? Don't know? just ask me and I'll tell you exactly where the moon was on that day. This Saturday 3/26 that is, the next time I am on line.

  6. Running is so easy when your lungs are clear of tars and your mind is free of nicotine.
  7. Gamactical error time, folks. Now I used to be able to smell jus fun:)
  8. Not that, please not that, any time.

  10. The dreams have ceased since I started running every day, Wheww. Talk about night mares on crack. At least I'm not dreaming about BAKON playing golf naked, that would be much worse me thinks LOL
  11. Since most of my team is from the ranches we're calling ourselves "The Bunny Runners". If you are interested in flying to Reno to join us, let me know and I'll have a limo pick you up at the airport. We are all being taken to the event in limousines. Guaranteed to be a blast. http://www.active.com/reno-nv/running/distance-running-races/16th-annual-pinocchio-s-moms-on-the-run-5k-and-10k-runs-and-5k-walk-2016?int=72-3-A1
  12. So what do I have to do to get a crowd of people to play with on Saturday night. Certainly the girls here where I work are entertaining but you guys used to be fun too back a few years ago when ya'll first quit smoking cancer sticks. Pick an option: 1) strip dance 2) sing 3) recite poetry 4) act stupid 5) make jokes about BAKON 6) make jokes about the boss 7) shut up and pray?
  13. Soooo, at 28 days I'm short 2 and one half days from an actual calendar month. But who the f cares, I still feel great and other than a few disheartening smoking dreams here and there, I'm going to keep it this time, damit. NOPE:)
  14. Top o the world MA! Thanks guys
  15. I have been having dreams where I cheat and smoke a cigarette, then go back for some more smokes and then I wake up. Very disturbing to think that my subconscience has not given it up yet. It's been a month now, let's hope these dreams which have just begun, don't stick around too long
  16. Wonderful things happen when you keep your nose clean and persevere without injury to other living things LOL Except I did eat some BAKON this morning, can't win m all.
  17. My boss heard about the pathetic shoes I was running in and the trip I took this morning during my mile run. Soooooo, my boss bought me a new pair of Dr Scholl's gel jumps. It's like running on air, so now all I need to do is mend the hole in my pants from the trip and fall I took this morning. LOL Look for me running naked down Interstate 80 at any time now:)

  19. It is as the Sarge says, weight gain is not inevitable, it can be avoided, just don't expect the process to be enjoyable. My body aches all over from the workouts I do each day, but on the positive side, I'm trading one pain in the @ss (smoking) for another pain in the @ss, good health. As they said in "Chicken Run", "pain is good".
  20. Be safe this St Patty's day, stay away from triggers, and don't drive anywhere unless you must:) Lot's of dumb *ss drunks out there right now.
  21. Eating like a pig, lots of sweets, junk food, favorite foods, chocolate, pizza, and NO WEIGHT GAIN. No sh*t. I can't figure it out, maybe it's the running, or maybe it is all the stuff I am doing to keep busy, keep mind off smoking cigs. Feel great, no health problems of any kind, and I am at my perfect weight for height and bones. Clearly I should not be worried, BUT at least I'm not an EGG, Bakon, right?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
