    The Last Game

Yesterday it was snowing and a dog ran in front of me on the highway. I was able to avoid it. Thank God but it was running alone the side of road like it was lost. My dtr and I pulled off the road and were able to get it. Called its owner delivered the pup 8 month old Brittany Spaniel home..it was lost and several miles from home. When was the last time you had a snowball fight?
  3. Good morning to those of you who survived Bakon's night out! A big nope on this snowy morning..
  4. I remember on a family vacation going out to eat at a restaurant on the lake with a lot of deer, birds, and fish on the walls. One wall up high there was a big fish that someone put a cigarette in its mouth..at the time my daughter was three and proclaimed loudly Look its a momma fish! Okay it was funny..but not really... My grandchildren will never refer to a fish as a grandma fish. My grandchildren will never know me as a smoking grandma! Ever!!
  5. Way to show how its done! Congrats!
  6. Congrats Kristin! You got this girl!

  16. MG..remember me just the other day??? I look at those cravings now as just a reminder to me of what a dumb ass I was to ever start smoking.. then I tell myself each week I'm getting stronger and there is no way I want to return to week 1. If none of that works and I'm afraid of slipping I post here..hang in there girlfriend.. you have this!!"

Nope....only thing good about polar vortex is the mere thought of being a slave to the CIG and standing outside to smoke is absolutely insane...I couldn't imagine doing that now!I'm down to a 1/4 of the regular dose of Chanix which has made a big change in my mood. Feeling more and more like ME!! Lol I like this me much better :-)

    week 3-4

You all are so supportive.. thank you. I believe my biggest issue is the Chanix. I have heard from several people that one can react different to it each time it is taken. My last time it was great..this time I have had many negative side effects that are not pleasant. I am not a happy person on this med.....
  23. Jenny thank you..you made me laugh very hard! Needed that..your awesome!

    week 3-4

I thin knits a combo of chanix and cravings. I do not like how I feel and at thus point I really don't care. I cut the chanix dose down and will check with MD tomorrow about getting off it or switching to zyban.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
