  16. I attempted numerous quits..always one of those 70% wanting to quit..but obviously not enough until this last quit. I wanted it. I wanted and am a non smoker. I know the difference for me this time was to quit making excuses and to push through the tough times. I have struggled and been tested with tragedy and I keep pushing forward. I know in my heart without my QT family I would still be one of those 70% because the times I couldn't see through the next hour you all held me up...I will keep marching!
  17. I worked in a rehab center and this morning while reviewing a potential admission I found this in the discharge paperwork and thought it fitting to share. How to Quit Smoking Smoking is one of the hardest addictions to break. About half of all those who have ever smoked have been able to quit, most of those ( about 70%) who still smoke want to quit. Here is one of the best ways to stop smoking.... NEVER STOP TRYING
  18. Way to go Evelyn!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
