  4. Cpk...there is no limbo you are either a smoker or non smoker..and it looks like you are making the right choice. Being a non smoker requires a nope everyday...do not put a cigarette in your mouth ever. Simple. It does get easier at times and there will be roller coasters , stress, and life happening but smoking doesn't change any of that. Stay close to this board, post often, read posts, play games and please sos if you need..just don't smoke. I am testament that anyone can get through stress without smoking. I have had some awful tragedy and stress in jan- feb. And smoking would have only brought more stress to my life...I chose to be a non smoker daily...life happens..smoking is NOT an option Hang in there!

  7. I'm thinking most men would stay home and wait to reap the benefits..however if they knew how often they could see "Anna"nude they may change their mind...Btw.. ladies..."Christian" has a spectcular ass.. :-) just saying....

  9. Ok..girls night at 50 shades. First I was surprised how many men were there with spouses/ dates. Second, I admit I enjoyed it. I liked how Anna made Christian soften. There is alot of nudity and bdsm so if that scares youand your not adventerous, you won't like the movie. The movie was only on the 1st book. 2nd movie being filmed now and yes I'm hooked....there I admitted it! :-)

  14. HELL NOpe!
  15. I'm not sure any other anniversary of being a non smoker will mean as much as this one...Month 3 to 4 seemed like an eternity. So much has happened in such a short time yet it feels like years. I truly doubted initially that I would make it to month 4, and for awhile I really didn't care. What I did do was a lot of reading on OT, relied on my QT family and then became a lurker for awhile. For awhile, I needed to be alone with my struggles. I got up one day brushed off and said enough is enough..I told myself smoking was never going to be an option..I would not smoke because that one cig would just add more stress..never will it take stress away.I refused to let the junkie thoughts win.I vowed to never let that cigarette have any sort of power over me again. I was doing great and then the collapsed lung out of nowhere. I can only imagine that this must be how COPD feels...as this healed along came pneumonia..What a month! Today I feel pretty good and can celebrate 4 months of being a quitter!! I made it!! I know there will be junkie thoughts again but I am hopeful I always remember the dash between months 3 and 4 to keep marching. Thank you my QT family for believing me and holding me up when I couldn't bear to do it myself! XX
  16. I will go to see this movie. I won't be standing in line on Valentines Day, but I will see it. I did read the books and although not writing of substance I did enjoy the plot and the many layers of Christian. I am interested to see how the movie plays out and do wish other actors were cast, neither of these are who I pictured as the leads. So yes..I will go see it with my girlfriends soon....I'll keep you posted :-)
  17. Lmao!! My 4 months is tomorrow but I greatly appreciate the support today! There is no way I will smoke today or tomorrow or ever ( fingers crossed) XX my friends

    Hi QT Family!!

Thanks friends. .I'm still here still marching. ♡
  21. This is so true bakon. We all have to keep marching, marching and marching some more and eventually we are where we need to be and the struggle becomes less and less. I have " marched" this month when I didn't think I could take one more step..I knew I would relapse...but I didn't I forced myself to march relied on many of you to push me forward AND Wednesday will be my 4 months! I really didn't think I could do it and for awhile didn't care...so Keep Marching QT'ers..hop on the bus, hold on! The ride may get bumpy, we may have some unexpected stops but at the end, we will have done it together!

  23. Nope....pneumonia :-(
  24. Hi my QT family..I'm back just maybe not as frequent as I was. For those of you who know my last month , I'm marching...had a collapsed lung and pretty sure that's what COPD feels like. They believe it was residue from the accident..O think its Steve telling me to get back to living! Struggling a bit but have my quit...cannot wait to hit 4 months! I really earned this month..hoping to celebrate. Tried to change my picture and it wouldn't so I will be the ghost for a bit :-) miss you all. Jess

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
