I don't miss having to leave people/conversations to feed my stupid addiction. I don't miss going out in storms just to feed my stupid addiction. There's lots more too! -

Yes it's 100% possible! Even if you don't fully believe it at first! I was what I call a 'proper smoker' - which means I thought I enjoyed smoking/loved it and on nights where I drank alcohol I could smoke at least 20 (thats just at night, I'd probably already had 10-20 during the day too). And now ... here I am nearly 4 years later and I've not taken 1 single puff - whats more, I've not wanted to! I love being a non smoker - being free, having more time on my hands and not being controlled by addiction

I think I spend more on alcohol now if that's possible! Swapped one vice for another I guess.

I flit between these two ways of thinking: Sometimes I forget that I was ever a smoker I can't believe I managed to quit smoking Either way, I'm happy and I've never really felt a sense of pride in myself before like I do now with my quit. :) Happy Happy Happy
