  9. The quit is different for everyone. The more ready you are to quit I think the more easier it is. It's all mental. Please don't give up the quit.

  12. The purple Lizard is right. It's so simple your mind just will not let you see it. I bet if you banged your head off the wall a few times every time your mind started making you think you needed a cigarette it would finally get the hint.
  13. I am the complete opposite. I've always been told after my yearly physical labs to keep doing what I'm doing and I tell them I eat like crap and don't exercise. The docs always shrug and say consider myself lucky good genes. Also I take no meds. I'm about 50 pounds overweight due to laziness and the love of food. 35 of those pounds I gained after quitting smoking. I don't mind though. My lungs feel great and I don't stink. So yes I will have another donut. Please and thank you

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
