  1. So exciting!!! You know I posted a one year for you a month ago because I was confused!! I deleted it really quickly....hahahahaha I was in a hurry to celebrate with you!!
  2. You can do this Abby! A new baby is exciting and even more exciting is that the baby will not know you as a smoker! The method you choose to quit is not nearly as important as your desire to quit. You have to want it and you have to be willing to stick to it no matter what. It's the only way.
  3. So exciting to see you Dancer! xx
  4. Oh my gosh I love it! Your home has so much character :) Very, very well done.

  6. Pffft...
  7. Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. Confucius

  8. How are you doing Humbled? Welcome aboard the QT!

LMAO!!! Unfortunately, I still have no chance to be "Top Egg" as Bakon prefers many yokes to one. :( I do, however, welcome any opportunity to fry Nancy. :) Nancy, I'll meet you at the coop at dusk! Be prepared to peck and be pecked!!
  10. I'm impressed you have a chain saw and know how to use it...:)
  11. According to our resident cheese snob, you can't get good cheese here. I highly recommend you try some Kraft American singles on a grilled cheese Sammy. ")
  12. Target much better and not just because my husband works at one...
  13. Well done my skirt wearing friend! This place would not be the same without you. Thanks for making us laugh. :)
  14. WHAT! Is that just a Northern thing? Well that just bites!!
  15. Oh and no jokes about the high taxes, we really did think we would be better off in the new world and most still feel this way.... Good news though! We don't pay a tax on TEA!
  16. You might as well remove the letter U from your keyboard now. You won't need it in the US. Think Colour, no it's Color here!!...
  17. Pants are slacks, not underwear.
  18. Welcome Vic! If I could sum up my quit experience with one sentence it would be that it was not as bad as I thought it would be. That said, I did a fair amount of crying the first few weeks!! Just take it one day at a time and before you know it, you won't even care about those nasty old cigs. Good to have you here. :)
  19. OMG, You are busting my yoke! My spot in the carten is still warm and already you are moving in?! Wheres the decency.....
  20. You have nothing to apologize for!!! You posted your feelings and like Christa and others said, we're all different and process things differently. Only worry about today and keep saying NOPE. It will be so much better later on.
  21. That's an awesome story! I want a song now too! It is amazing isn't it. Empowering to take control.
  22. Welcome SanDar! I'm impressed you got right back into it after your relapse :) shows how much you want to be quit. Quitting can be so hard and even harder if you don't know what to expect. Make a commitment to NOPE and then, no matter how bad it gets, stick to it. Post here if you feel you may relapse or even if you just want to talk to vent. I took Chantix too and it helps, but it will still be hard work for a bit. You got this! We'll be with you every step of the way!
  23. That's it! I've had it!! If Tracey isn't going to be an egg any more and Julie is moving to top egg (ahead of me) I'm quitting this egg gig!!!!
  24. I'm happy too Batman. What's wrong with these people? :pardon:

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
