    Shall We Rhyme?

    Holy smokes, Batman!
  3. Ah, that explains it. Haven’t the rest of you learned weird stuff from the urban dictionary?
  4. You’ll be fine! Have a nice time!
  5. Yesterday , I was on my 2nd session on my treadmill, when I started to feel very hungry, as I hadn’t eaten in hours, and just felt like my blood sugar had plummeted, so I stopped after 1 mile and had a snack and some water. After 25 minutes , or so, I resumed my set, but the machine had not stored my data. It holds it for 10 minutes, in case you need a rest. I knew I had stopped at exactly 1 mile, though. Theoretically, I should have done just one more mile. However, revitalized, I started all over and did 2 miles. So, I power walked 5 miles uphill yesterday.
  6. OK, def not wanting to do either, but never offended by learning something new. We did ask, didn’t we?
  7. What a blessing! Life’s greatest gift: grandchildren….. I am anxiously awaiting my 13th, due next month.
  8. Thank you, everyone, for helping me celebrate being smoke free, for 5 full months. I have had some cravings, but nothing I couldn’t handle.
  9. Yes, don’t we need more clarification from Mac?
  10. Did that clip clear anything up for anyone else?
  11. I just learned about disc golf this Summer, when I discovered the odd course at a local park, and witnessed some guys playing.

    Shall We Rhyme?

    Songs are uplifting.
  13. In case I’d like to try it, what, pray tell, is the dirty sanchez position.
  14. I agree, and will cheat occasionally, for my favorite carbonated beverage, which does happen to be Dr. Pepper. Having said that, carbonation weakens the bones. So moderation is key. Also, when I do drink soda, it’s not the diet variety. Give me the real deal, please.
  15. I don’t think sex is dirty, do you?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
