  1. Yes, more than once daily, but do you go to a House of Worship daily?
  2. Yes, but shouldn’t we believers pause, once a week, and honor our Creator?
  3. @Dianne, do not restart your exercise program until your Diverticulitis symptoms have completely resolved, and even then, I would wait another week, after that. You don’t want to put any extra stress on your gut.
  4. Don’t you think Sunday is a special day, though?
  5. Thanks, @jillar! I hope so, too. I am tired of dealing with this issue. It has been a recurring problem over the past several years. I have even consulted a G I surgeon, and may have to go that route.
  6. Hang in there, @Dianne! Sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with so much stuff. I can relate. I am on vacation and currently have a Diverticulitis flare up. I went to an Urgent Care Clinic, today, here in Washington, D. C., to get an Rx for antibiotics. I am hoping I will start to feel better after about 24 hours, when the meds kick in. Hoping you are on the mend, too.
  7. But don’t we have to know when it’s Sunday, so we can rest and worship the Lord?
  8. Well, being healthier is the main reason to quit smoking for most people. For me, I have always been a bit rebellious, so the social stigma attached to smoking did not bother me.
  9. Nope! I am retired, so, except for Sunday, why should I care what day it is?
  10. Is Jeff Foxworthy from Michigan?
  11. I drank as a bartender, too, Did I say Drank? I meant worked….
  12. Yes, I suppose I was being rather naive claiming it was only a time or two that I was hung over? More than A few times, for sure….
  13. Don’t you think it’s safe to assume we have all consumed too much alcohol, a time or two?
  14. Actually, I knew what you meant. For me, it’s both the game and the men. I love sports and am fairly athletic.I am also super competitive!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
