  1. Thank you guys so much!!! Still going strong—cravings are less than last month, but I’ve been having smoking dreams the past week or so, but still holding strong and excited to start the New Year smokefree!!! Thanks again for all of your support and Happy Holidays to you all and a very Happy New Year!!!
  2. Thanks so much, you guys...your messages have really brightened my day! It is wild that it is already 3 months...some occasional cravings but still going strong. I hope you all are doing well, and Happy Holidays to to you all!
  3. Thank you all SOOO much!!! Sorry I am just seeing this thread! All the congrats mean so much & it’s exciting to be 2 months smoke free! I can’t thank you guys enough for all the wonderful support you have shown me!
  4. Thank you Doreensfree and C9Jane, If it wasn’t for all of you and this board I would never have had the confidence to quit! To all the newbies: Hang in there! We can do this!
  5. Hey Everyone, I’m doing pretty good...today is my last day on the patch...I do get urges to smoke once in a while, but I don’t give in to them. I hope everyone is doing well!
  6. Linda, This is wonderful news! Make sure to treat yourself for passing the one week mark and making it through hell week!
  7. That’s fantastic Linda! Pretty soon you will have a full week behind you, and those are the hardest days...you are doing so good...stick with it!
  8. That is fantastic that you are giving it another go Linda! Maybe Chantix is exactly what you need to help make the quit stick this time. Take it day by day, hour by hour--you can do this! I am praying your test results come back negative as well. Please stay close to the board and let us know how you are doing. I am rooting for you all the way!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
