    Good morning Doreen. 1
  14. Thanks for sharing Kate. I think it's quite fortunate for me that I've never had a smoking dream in all the many times that I've quit, I can see how nerve-racking it could be to have such a bad dream. 4 weeks today for me and it does get better. Still getting the cravings occasionally, but less frequent and much easier to brush off. Happy Monday morning everybody.

  23. I think his analysis about caffeine/coffee intake and blood sugar level make sense. I've been working from home during this quit, I have a light breakfast every morning instead of smoking, I also have reduced the number of coffees and I did find the withdrawal symptoms and cravings this time very mild compares to previous quits. However I don't agree with him about every quit is the same, and I believe his analysis is only true for a portion of the Nicotine withdrawals, not entirely accurate. Just an interesting perspective on Nicotine withdrawal, but whatever works for people to quit is still good.
  24. This is quite an interesting analysis about Nicotine withdrawals, most of it make sense and a lot of comments confirmed it.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
