  5. Thanks Sarge, that is truth, the only way, and all that really matters. And yes, all the rest is background clutter. lol@the avi I got it right away
  6. I walk my own path. I consider everyone else as being on their own trek. Having said that, I want to see the person who is going to tell me how I am to walk, to speak, to think and to be quit. I want to see the person who can make that stick with me. It never happened and it never will, unless I allow it. I never read Allen Carr, and I don't march under his banner. I am my own army. I happen to like a lot of what is here, what everyone gives to the place. Some of it doesn't move me at all. Some of it never will. That's life. My life. my quit, I am the same as you. Your path, however you walk it is your business, whatever you consume, you do so willingly. KTQ.
  7. Forever quit is the only way to live. I will die a non smoker.
  8. I would buy a 26 foot Baja big pontoon boat and a newer diesel truck to haul it with and cruise around and drink beer.

  11. Amy, You don't need to be strong to stay quit, just need to keep living that dream of being free.. You have to be vigilant. Guard your quit like it's a baby! Can't protect itself, you gotta do it. Just do it, and don't let anything near it. :) Markus

  15. Sucks. I never realized it could be that intense. Here's what gripes my ass, there are a hell of lot more non-smokers than smokers so why do they get to ruin the atmosphere for the majority? Can anyone explain that one? I know its all about the money, but I still maintain that even if they couldn't smoke, the dumb fuckers would still go out and smoke and come back in. So it can't be all about the money. I didn't notice this so much in Vegas, maybe they pump in a lot more oxygen. I wonder how many cigarettes I inhaled in an hour of gambling? Hey you know what, they would have got a lot more of my money if it was non-smoking, I left cause I was getting sick, and it wasn't the booze either. Another on the list of places I don't go. Check. Anybody in the midwest please chime in if you have a state that is smoke free on the gambling floor of casino's. thanks PS except Colorado, casinos are smoke-free, they wised up and put them outside. At Blackhawk and Cripple Creek anyways, and that was a lotta fun... :)
  16. Cocoa looks ok, it could be worse...could be bald...a buddy of mine Dave gave his yorkie Katy a trim...she had a crew cut...that shine will make ya crazy hear? About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
