  1. Welcome back @Steveo1. I personally have not used the SOS feature of the board, but I have seen others on the board use it successfully. If you do not have access to the net for any reason and it so happens you get a crave and can't post an SOS, try to fight the crave. Here's a video link that may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7Z980ITCvk
  2. Congratulations on a 3 year quit @andyc941!!!
  3. @Eight-Toe Joe How's your quit going?
  4. @Damona Stress can be a very powerful negative thing, there's no denying that. In fact, it can be the most powerful trigger for ex-smokers to go back to smoking, but that's just my opinion. We have to be wary of triggers caused by stress. Look at the positive though, you are back to your quit. Take @Sazerac's advice above ^^. Stay close to the board and talk to the people here. They will help. Here's hoping that you can pull off your quit, all the best!!!
  5. @Diane R So far, my quit is fine.

  12. Nice positive outlook towards your quit @Diane R , you seem happy with your quit and that is also important. Smile a lot and think "How awesome, I quit, I quit smoking!!!"

  14. @hellkatbaby Your courage and positive outlook through these difficult times is admirable. It's good that you're spending as much time with your family as possible. Medical science is really advanced these days and I sincerely hope that medical care will help the doctors control your condition effectively. Whenever possible, do let us know of your progress. A big thank you for thinking of us with your advice on staying quit. It is appreciated. All the best and many hugs!!!

  17. @Sazerac Oddly enough, no withdrawal symptoms so far, and that's a good thing. Just finished exercising, having a nice bath and taking the dogs out for their toilet. Had plenty of water.
  18. Thank you @reciprocity and @johnny5

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
