  1. @doreen , I have never used this gum for 12 weeks continuously . I have not even eaten 10 packs of gums till now These days i get a pack once a week , That is all . A pack has 9 gums in it . So i have only used it very less times . Anyway i do not have much cravings like i used to have in the beginning of my quit journey . @reciprocity , Yes i am ditching these gums too very soon . Here is the date i am going to quit the gum , June 1st 2019 . Its the beginning of rainy season here , and i love those times .
  2. Thanks for all the replies . I am not trying to promote the use of nicotine gums in anyway . Its just that during my beginning days of quit , gums was the only thing that stopped the craving . That is not all , i do not have too much time to even think about my cravings .I feel its a waste of time .So that is why for a quick relief from cigarette and addiction related thoughts i eat a gum and it goes away . Otherwise these addiction related thoughts itself would stay in my head for more longer periods than you think . Anyway if you have lots of time in your hands , slowly slowly avoid using all sorts of nicotine related products . But the problem again is the addiction related thoughts would stay in your head for a longer period . I will try other chewing gums too soon .
  3. Thanks for all the replies , @jillar , That gum is a lot of relief when feeling too bored , i sometimes chew it to even kill the boredom Maybe i should try a good nicotine free gum next time .
  4. I like it , I will probably make this my online home
  5. OK , No problems . I was only telling what worked for me I will be a little bit more careful about this next time
  6. No OK , Then continue without everything nicotine related
  7. I am feeling very happy about it too
  8. Like i always say , In the beginning of a quit journey nicotine gums helps a lot . You can throw it away after 2 weeks too . Without the gums i would be a very uncomfortable person No i am not telling you to continuously take nicotine in one form or the other , But this is at least 10 times better than inhaling smoke and having a heavy lungs full of smoke
  9. @Ankush , reciprocity ,BKP Thanks for the replies . Maybe this 4 months period is a mark where the body is flushing out all the toxins in the body . I am sure my body is clearing the nicotine in the body , because my breathing has improved at least by 90% . my ability to cope with stress has improved a lot too . That is what average normal life is .Full of stress , strain and lots of work .

    Depression

Sorry , i forget to put a quote @Solo It will all come back once you stay away from smoking Life is a lot more things you have to do everyday . All these problems exist because you made cigarette a habit . Life is a bit miserable for most of us most of the times .Boring , Depressing etc .But when you avoid smoking you can fight all these slowly slowly without ruining your health .

  18. I remember the old times when i used to smoke a lot . It always happened when the temperature was too hot This time i have to block it with all i can . Thanks for the reply jillar
  19. Could it be the really really hot temperature outside ? Our monsoon starts in June only . So in the meanwhile its very hot temperature here . This is making me unusually tired and dull . I have a craving as a side effect of all these heat and boredom i am going through . I wont smoke but the cravings are kind of feeling strong
  20. Thanks a lot for all the support everyone I am still smoke free In times of too much discomfort i use a nicotine gum , but that only happens once every week nowadays
  21. @Doreensfree , @Linda Thomas Thanks for the reply Sorry for the trouble . Eating nicotine gums for me was the best way to stay away from the irritations of addiction . Yes , Nicotine addiction is a strange irritation Going cold turkey was not helping me much , I had to waste my time thinking about another 100 things to take my mind of the addiction that kept coming back . But once i made Eating nicotine gums a habit , That strange irritation of addiction went away . Nowadays i eat a pack of gums only every three or four days . That is a big improvement
